The UV bulbs need to be replaced when the LED light turns off on your monitor box, or at approximately 2000hrs of usage. The replacement is self contained; replace the entire black chamber of the unit. DO NOT open when the unit is on, or after use.

Fits both the AA Aquariums GKM 24W UV Unit and the Blue Planet UView 24W.
